Dr. Brittany Zellars

DPT, LAT/ATC, CMTPT/DN
Physical Therapist

I was born and raised in Crestview, FL and attended the University of North Florida where I earned my bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training then went on to attend Florida Gulf Coast University where I earned my doctorate in Physical Therapy. Since graduating, I have spent the majority of my professional career focused on serving the outpatient orthopedic and sports medicine populations. I have worked in the home health, acute hospital, and skilled nursing settings as well. I have extensive

post-operative experience ranging from multi-trauma type injuries to elective orthopedic surgeries across the lifespan. I continuously seek out various forms of continuing education to increase the tools in my toolbox and enjoy getting creative throughout patients’ recovery. I have had the pleasure of serving the Florida Everblades (ECHL hockey team) as their physical therapist for 3 years both in game and in an injury prevention or rehabilitative role. Most recently, I was able to work directly with Dr. Andrews and his surgical team to perform prehab visits, immediate post-op care, day to day rehab, and return to play sports testing for professional, collegiate, and high school athletes from across the country.

Currently I have my license and certification in Athletic Training as well as Physical Therapy. I have taken coursework that allows me to perform trigger point dry needling, instrument assisted soft tissue mobilization, utilize kinesiology taping, and implement various methods of manual therapy to assist patients with gaining mobility throughout joints.

My Core Values For Life Are:

  • Dependability

  • Integrity

  • Strong work ethic

  • Authenticity

Get comfortable with being uncomfortable
